The UCAS End of Cycle Report 2020 is the first national overview of demand for, and acceptances to, undergraduate UK higher education (HE) for the 2020 admissions cycle.

The End of Cycle Report provides independent in-depth analysis and insight about who’s applying and being accepted into full-time undergraduate higher education. This year we will be publishing two End of Cycle Reports across December and January, focusing on widening access and participation and student choice.

The End of Cycle Report is accompanied by the release of accompanying data resources, presented in an interactive dashboard, allowing users to visualise and tailor the reporting to their own specifications. These data sets are also available in files which are free to access and reuse.

The first report ‘Widening access and participation’ was published on Wednesday 16 December.

On 22 January 2021, an update was made to the entry rates by UK region and parliamentary constituency. This has been done to account for redistribution of those UK applicants not assigned a region or parliamentary constituency. This has resulted in minor increases (of up to 2.6 percentage point) in some entry rates. This has impacted Table 4 on page 7 of the report, as well as the accompanying data files.
